My Pledge to the Parliament

As this site's owner and head administrator, on this day, April 3rd, 2017, I hereby promise:

1. I will create a safe and fun environment for all members to call home.
2. I will always take members' feedback to heart, and will always seek to make the Parliament an even better place for the members than it already is.
3. I will not make any decisions that affect the entire member base without asking them about it first.
4. I will respond to any complaints in a detailed and understanding manner- I will not "dodge questions" or censor members in any way, be it by threatening people, making excuses, deleting genuine criticism, or any other means.
5. I will make every effort to resolve any issues between staff and members if it is established that one exists- I will not sweep known issues under the rug.
6. I will not knowingly lie to members, as it would be an insult to their intelligence to do so.
7. I will mete out punishment only when absolutely necessary, and I will deal out the minimum punishment necessary for the infraction.
8. I will only banish a member if all other options are exhausted without any hope of improvement.
9. I will always treat my fellow staff members with respect and gratitude.
10. Should I fail to fulfill any of these statements, I will correct myself, apologize, and strive to do better in the future.
